Got to be the loudest minority -- higher than a F-35. But most people want safety at school and work place along the 2nd Amendment but with common sense regulation. If you really love weaponry and you are all worked up over it - that much, go into the military and get safely trained like I was.

Hey kids -- Treason is with the "in crowd" and acceptable now by the GOP -- All in we'll see what judgment day says. Phil Scott should become an Indy - the stain of the GOP will be a sinker. When that realization comes to fruition lots of back scrambling.

Thank you for realising this error Governor Scott. Second amendment will not change so we can all carry guns, many of us should not however in my opinion. We really should look into Australia ways of how they handled this same dilemma. Find solutions one of which I've heard in Australia is everyone has the right to a gun, but they do it like a motor vehicle where you are certified but you have to ask why you want one - target shooting, hunting all the of the traditions in tact and you pass the safety course and of course mental course and your rights are granted. Would this really hurt gun owners - no, inconvenience probably some but this might be the way to go. Please govern as a Vermonter and not a Republican - thank you.

John and as you identified - the "reefer madness crowd" are just as in league with the "just say no" to getting off fossil fuels - NO? Both of those are tiny loud minorities in this the Green Mountain State. Also, our VT utilities are less and less electrically tied to CO2 belching, so maybe this point is now moot.

Can't really stand his politics, but he's actually a pretty decent guy - interesting as hell. the old story of being stuck in a elevator with someone -- he's one on my list. for me his heyday was secession and shires in Vermont. All said - his thinking is damaging and "extreme" just my opinion. I'd pay money to be in a canoe on Lake Champlain with an incoming storm with Bernie & John.
