Re: “Walters: Scott, Hallquist Draw Clear Contrasts in Second Debate

That's funny, Scott acted like a Republican. Hilarious.

Re: “Walters: Scott Slams Vermont Ethics Panel

Leaderhune the problem with your logic is the governor is not a Republican. Anyone paying attention can see he is a full fledged Democrat who calls himself a Republican. Action after action by him screams Democrat.

Re: “Walters: Scott Slams Vermont Ethics Panel

It does point out his failed leadership once again. He's complaining about it but he should have done his due diligence before signing it into law. Same thing with the individual which he signed before the legislature put a penalty in the bill. Of course he ran away from that signing by saying it was only for determining a penalty.

Re: “At Statehouse Rally, Vermont Students Join Call for Gun Control

It's sad that the students aren't taught the Constitution in school. If they were they would know that the 2nd amendment is absolute. If they want to change it they must call for a constitutional convention and get it changed legally.
And any elected official whether they agree or not they have taken an oath to defend and protect the Constitution. To vote to impose any gun law without a constitutional amendment is a violation of their oath.

Re: “Dems Depleted: Vermont Democrats Facing Financial Woes

"This is a revenue problem," said Pearce. "Cutting expenditures is not the way to go." Why does that sound so familiar?

Re: “No New Moran: Burlington Ends Old Plant Redevelopment Talks

When government gets involved in any project the cost automatically at least doubles. Turn it over to some construction company and tell them to have at it.
