Re: “Man Who Passed Out KKK Flyers Now Wanted for Burlington Assault

Yes right wing violence is on the rise in the US. Yes it must be addressed. Yes it is in part due to tRumpism, as tRump encourages right wing violence in his speeches and tweets, and yes this is nazism.

Re: “Some Republicans Denounce VTGOP Chair’s Fiery, Pro-Trump Screed

Thank you for leaving my posts up.

We have to be able to discuss the very real connections between the republican party and the rise of fascism in the US. To disallow that discussion is a great disservice to the community and to the integrity of the publication.

Yes it's uncomfortable, and yes some folks will say that there is no connection, but what we are seeing in this country is a very real increase in actual nazis marching under swastikas in US cities. Burlington has seen nazi hate graffiti in the last few months.

When I see a republican attempting to increase their sphere of influence, with all of the very real nazification we see going on under tRump, I feel obliged to speak out about what I see. Agree or disagree, mileage may vary.

Not being allowed to discuss nazis...enables nazism. SevenDays "guidelines" forbid discussion of nazis and nazism so clearly SevenDays is now in the business of enabling nazis. Shame on you!!

My post referring to tRumpsm as nazism was pulled by SevenDays. I guess we are not allowed to discuss nazism in this publication. Shame on you. I am sure you'll pull this post too.

Re: “After Florida Shooting, Vermont Governor Says No New Gun Laws

Fascinating to watch people defend gun ownership, refuse to set any limits (which would be described as bad parenting in another context) because of their emotional attachment to the 2nd Amendment. I guarantee that the founders did not foresee and want automatic weapons being brought into schools.

The republican party touts itself as being pro-family, pro-morality, and conservative, when in fact it is actually anti-family since it supports everything that harms families, anti morality with it's defense of pedophiles and rapists, including the pussy grabber in the White House, and is certainly not conservative as they seek to pillage every natural resource possible and conserve nothing.

It's time to call the republicans what they are...pro violence, pro greed, pro destruction. Gov. Scott, this is directed at you. What are YOU doing to make Vermonters safe from violent psychopaths?
