Re: “Bacon Wars: Why Did the Sneakers Bistro Incident Go Viral?

Is sausage and bacon on their menu still? If they were consistent with their regard for the woman's feelings, they would take it off. Intolerance in action. Lady if your religion forbids eating pork products, then don't eat them.
Don't go to restaurants that offer them, and let US eat bacon. I'm pro-choice. I choose where I want to eat
and I don't preach about taking away what I don't like from others. Maybe I'll go back there and loudly order BACON!!!!!

Re: “Winooski Bistro's Bacon Sign Ignites Internet Storm

In the old days liberal meant tolerant people who wanted small, efficient government and maximum personal freedom. This is why some libertarians use the term "classical liberal". JFK was one but these days he'd have to run as a Republican. A talk show host named Alan Nathan used to say, "We want the Republicans out of our bedrooms, the Democrats out of our wallets, and both AWAY from our first and second amendment rights!"

Re: “Winooski Bistro's Bacon Sign Ignites Internet Storm

Have eaten there (omellette, kinda ordinary)...what if a Red Sox fan complained about the sign I used to see at Donny's NY Pizza, "Watch All The Yankees Games Here"? Would they demand they take it down? If you don't like bacon, don't eat there (or order something else). Want sharia law to come to our land? Be forced to obey their religion, and possibly be put to death for something like being gay? The woman is intolerant of others. And btw to be consistent, if they agree with her that bacon is offensive, are they still serving bacon and sausage? After all, someone might be offended.
