Re: “Ellen Powell

Sometimes it's a toss up to figure out what Ellen's best at. She's always been one of the best bass players and teachers and now we are even more generously blessed with her eye for composition and her fluid style behind the lens.

Re: “When Bernie Sanders Said He'd Do More for Women Than Vermont's First Female Governor

What is the point of publishing this article other than to illustrate what a weasel Paul Heintz is and what a rag Seven Days is becoming? Dredging up a 35 year old disagreement or misunderstanding between Bernie Sanders and Madeline Kunin is transparently designed to discredit Bernie, it has no merit and Heintz, you are an effing jerk.

Re: “Sanders Calls U.S. Killing of Iranian Commander a 'Dangerous Escalation'

A man (Trump) who is essentially a coward, a tyrant and a bully, who is insulated and isolated from the effects of his actions, has opened the door to the probability of a devastating escalation of hostilities between us and Iran. He bypassed informing anyone who might have cautioned against this rash move and the potential consequences, but his puerile, almost psychotic lust for power and blood is insatiable. We will pay and pay dearly.

Re: “Backstory: Happiest Hoarder

Never delete anything you can use to make someone else look bad as you play the part of a "crusader for truth". Raking muck is not journalism, it's pettiness and smug self-righteousness.

Re: “Vermont Inmate Claims Fellow Prisoner Was Denied Care Before Death

The entire DOC needs independent review and overhaul. The use of contractors for essential services, healthcare in particular, needs to be scrutinized and a clear line of accountability and repercussions for malfeasance must be drawn and enforced.

Re: “Burlington Police Chief Admits He Used an Anonymous Twitter Account to Taunt a Critic

If there is evidence that he has acted similarly before his head injury and subsequent mental health issues, it should be considered grounds for dismissal, particularly because he lied about it. Burlington is becoming a microcosm of the corruption that plagues municipalities and it starts with Wonder Boy Weinberger.

Re: “Feds Would Expand Use of Drugs Criticized in Vermont Eldercare Lawsuit

Donald Trump is a cruel, vindictive, psychopath. If anyone needs anti-psychotic medications, it is him.

Re: “Soundbites: Demystifying Waking Windows' New Radius Clause

"ok millennials"...(or Gen-Xers, whatever)... The Waking Windows organizers are acting like entitled jerks. Local, working bands need to play locally. This is not Coachella, these people who try to make venues and events in Vermont communities exclusive and mimic national and larger regional events are becoming increasingly and insufferably arrogant.
