Scarface was not 'the first guy to do his rhymes in the first person about robbing people and drug dealing.'
Take a look at Ice-T's "6 'N the Morning" or "9mm" by BDP KRS-One & Scott LaRock. These were in '86 & '87 respectively.

This event is necessary, and will undoubtedly spread inspiration.
As a note to the writer: when we speak of Hip Hop kulture we use it as a proper noun that gets capitalized.
When we write the name of a hip-hop product we use the lower case with a hyphen.
