Re: “Condos: Cops Shouldn't Charge Vermonters to View Body Camera Footage

Court records are public information as well but when you want a court transcript you pay through the nose and have to get it from a company in NYC.

Re: “Will of the People? Advisory Questions Offer High Hopes but Get Few Results

@ sevendayssucksmirostit you have made serious accusation of corruption. I challenge you to bring forth evidence of such so the party you have accused can be brought to justice, other wise don't hide behind fake names with such accusations. make it all public, I dare and challenge you to put up to the challenge and bring forth information and facts not ignorance.

Re: “CityPlace Partner Assures Council That Project Will Move Forward

Northoldender speaks his anti Miro spew again. Run for office, the city needs voices like yours, but only if you are willing to use a real name.

Re: “Media Note: Vermont Statehouse Tightens Press Access Following Inaugural Outburst

Requiring someone to register ahead of time as a press writer does not infringe on your rights. It allows the staff time to prepare and know who is around. Just behave yourself and you will never have a problem.

Re: “Rules Would Put a Premium on Hemp Products Made in Vermont

This smells like another opportunity for the state to grab some money from growers. Each state will give their growers a grade A or B but that doesn't make them equal. The grading standard should be set by the federal government in order to put all on an equal basis. The Vermont stamp of grading will mean nothing to out of state people, let alone in state. Each person will swear by their own product as the best and each user will have their preference.

@ cwinklem, The city has independent committees that represent citizens. They are called the design advisory board, development review board, commissioners on many boards for each department. These are all volunteer citizens that hold departments accountable. There are spaces available if you are interested in serving on a board or commission.

Re: “Will of the People? Advisory Questions Offer High Hopes but Get Few Results

@ Amey Radcliff, the process wasn't flawed. There was years of public input, as there always is on projects of this magnitude. People just don't want to be bothered until something happens and the work begins then they complain about the "Process" This is why the southern connector hasn't been built in 40 years, this is why the moran plant is still its ugly shell, that is why the auditorium will sit empty in a decaying state for years to come. There is always a small group of people that don't want to be involved until the work is about to begin and then they do what ever to stop it.
