Re: “Letters to the Editor (3/13/19)

Re: “House Committee Approves New Vetting for Adjutant General Candidates

The life and death calls they would be making wouldn't affect them. The military has bomb shelters they can run and go hide in. The life and death calls like the insane decision to allow nuclear bombers to be based in and operate over Vermont are going to affect the citizens on the ground when one of those bomber jets crashes and creates a nuclear catastrophe unlike anything the state has ever experienced. Then if some of us are lucky to still be alive i wanna see what all the military/industrial complex stooges and flunkies on this site have to say for themselves.

Re: “F-35 Critic Rosanne Greco Enters Race for Adjutant General

Just love how all the stooges and flunkies of the military/industrial complex come out on here to assail a candidate like Rosanne Greco who cares about the well-being and safety of Vermont citizens and not about helping weapons manufacturers make endless profits from endless phoney wars or maintaining toxic military bases that poison the environment and the people nearby. Tough to handle an inconvenient truth like that, isn't it.

Re: “Media Note: Vermont Statehouse Tightens Press Access Following Inaugural Outburst

isn't it amazing how outspoken mike donoghue and the vermont press association are when a minor issue of inconvenience hits close to home but during the 2018 vermont general election season when democracy was dying in a systemic policy of closed debates which prevented vermont voters full access to seeing and hearing all the officially qualified candidates that were running for major office in vermont ( governor - lt. governor - u.s. senate - u.s. house of representatives ) not he or his press association or any other vermont reporter in print, radio, or television spoke out against that abomination to the democratic process

Re: “Unsustainable: Green Mountain College to Close in May

meanwhile billions upon billions of federal taxpayer money goes to funding a bloated military budget for endless phoney wars to propagate endless military/industrial corporation profits - america is more interested in spending tax dollars to teach its youth how to kill and die than for educating them so they can pursue peaceful, sustainable lives - when will the united states of amnesia wake up from its narcotic slumber and realize the u.s. military isn't part of the solution - they're part of the problem - true world peace will begin when the youth of the world wake up and refuse military conscription and recruitment
