Re: “Yangser Dorjee’s Himalaya Restaurant

Himalaya is a great new lunch spot for the downtown crowd. It is spacious with views of the water (if you look beyond the old warehouse-type buildings), and there is plenty of seating to go around. I had a combination of 6 momo, two of each variety (beef, chicken, and vegetarian). They were just the right mix of savory and spicy, and the red sauce that accompanied them added a wonderful zing. The service was fast and attentive, and it was easy to get in and out within an hour and get back to the office (although I'm sure a more leisurely meal would have been possible). To sum up: 5 stars!

Re: “Food Shortage, Money Woes Lead to Takeover of Three Senior Housing Facilities

I'd be curious to learn about whether East Lake needed to be approved by DAIL as a purchaser of these facilities, and if so whether there were any red flags about the company at that point. If the complaints began coming in "almost immediately," shouldn't there be a mechanism to prevent companies like this from coming into the State in the first place?

Re: “He Couldn't Lose: Bissonnette to Represent Winooski in Vermont House

Or - and hear me out - Clem could give up the reins of power that he has held for decades and let a new generation of progressive politicians (who actually live in Winooski) represent the district in the Lege.

Credit to Zupan for honest express his thoughts on the issues. But Sanders is right, they're pretty pathetic thoughts.

Re: “Burlington Principal Reverses Course, Allows Students to Publish Story

Ironically, the news of the administration censoring a perfectly legitimate story from the school newspaper likely distracted much more from the educational mission of the school than the underlying story would have.
