Re: “'The Crucible'”

3 of us went to see the Crucible at the Strand on Feb. 10th. We were freezing cold the entire first act. The acting was marginal stumbled lines in old english were poorly spoken. No inflection no nuance just spoken verbatim like from a script. We paid extra for front row seats to see Mr Putnam forget his lines the Preist spoke loudly and still no actual acting. Mrs. Putnam Goodie something was the worst . She wasn't good in the underground railroad production either. So we left after the first act. Might just as well have donated the $75.00. We go to theater often this was just not good. The Strand theater itself is awesome but chilly so dress warm. I appreciate their efforts but it was just not worth missing a beautiful day to watch.
