Re: “Walters: Vermont House Approves Resolution Opposing Family Separation

Now Vermont has joined with 16 other states in suing the Trump administration for the policy of separation of children form illegal adults crashing the boarder. LOL.

Where was Vermont when Bernie was illegally bypassed by a corrupt criminal DNC, while all the campaign contributions were diverted to Killary? Deep state stooges, all. Vermont's hypocrisy is becoming impossible to hide. How can the people of Vermont tolerate this from the Democrats in office?? They are all guilty of the lowest, most loathsome behavior. MAGA. Vote them all out of office 2018. Make Vermont Great Again. MVGA.

Re: “Muddied Waters: No Clear Solutions for Burlington's Wastewater Problem

Any way you look at it, the population of Vermont, the cities, the farms, the roads, are all going to add nutrients to our waters. But fortunately, if looked into, there are very excellent aeration systems that do a great job of of cleaning the waters, plus, increasing the fish population within streams and lakes. Here is but one example.
Brian Kling, PE
CLEAN-FLO International
610-431-1934 Ext. 101
Cleaning Water Biologically
This system can be regulated to meet whatever demands are placed on it, as conditions change, discharges occur, etc.. To greatly increase the fish population of the lakes would be great of the sports fishing and tourist industries, would increase commercial fishing, supplying restaurants, homes... and when enough fish grow, the phosphorus load decreases being used in the bones of fish. Enough fish and you can harvest them for fish meal and bone meal phosphorus rich fertilizers.
This is the way to go.

Re: “Guard Beat Up Inmate in Dispute Over Chicken Patty, Inmates Say

Vermont spends more per inmate than almost any other state, $50,000 per year. This represent about $150,000 and 10% of the annual budget. For what?? Our judicial system is a for-profit industry. Why?
There are plenty of other ways to discipline offenders of law. How much does it cost to put someone in the public commons for a few days..in stocks? How much to have a public flogging, (put out to bid, of course)?
How much does public service cost?
When is some common sense and a renewal of homegrown treatment going to be reapplied to our correctional system? Oh, wait... it is a prison for profit system, I forgot.

Re: “On Your Mark: Candidates Line Up for the 2018 Campaign

"... thanks to widespread antipathy toward President Donald Trump, "
"Wide spread", according to 7daze, maybe in their opinion. THIS IS NOT NEWS, ONLY PROPAGANDA.

An updating calculation of the president's approval rating, accounting for each poll's quality, recency, sample size and partisan lean. How this works

Support President Trump as he continues to drain the swamp, which is huge and full of vile creatures.
The Republicans in Congress and demanding answers to a huge range of probable illegal acts by Democrats and the totally corrupt DNC.

MAGA! Vermont can become BETTER informed and supportive of the battle to regain our Constitution.

Re: “Skepticism Mounts Over Scott’s Late-Session Education Proposal

it is too late to Legislate the budget for schools. The real solution is to establish the spending limit which can not be exceeded. If school boards knew in advance approximately what they could spend, and the Legislature were bound not to exceed their budget, then, for the taxpayer, the problem is solved, One thing we know, that expenditures will always seek to rise faster the the ability to pay for them. So cut budgets. Live within that budget; cut the school budgets by 1/3 and students would still get educated, and maybe even more evenly balanced, if they were forced to spend less time in institutions and had more time to pursue their own interests, learned what is not being taught to them. Schools have exceeded much of their usefulness, and certainly have exceeded their monopoly privileges. Time for a change.

Re: “Gun Groups Sue to Strike Down Vermont's New Magazine Limits

Rather than simply allowing staff to carry and also to teach gun safety, which would absolutely keep schools safer without busting the bank..... the very first things the liberal left pushes is to violate the 2nd Amendment, which is out of the question....not going to happen, VT. law or no law. There is no accounting for the mindlessness of this.... unless there is intent to disarm us.
