Re: “UVM Student Cited in 'Racist and Threatening Language' Case

Unfortunately it sounds like some people are looking for trouble. Want to be scared? Go somewhere you should be scared. Then your preparations for something that hasn't happened might not be creating such a self-fulfilling prophecy, which affects the people around you, you know. Talk about divisiveness. When you create that division, that boogeyman, someone might come along and live down to your expections. And for that matter, if you want to protest, don't go after the people who are on your side. Go to Mississippi or North Dakota and try to effect real change on people who don't agree with you... Sorry if it sounds like I'm talking to a fifth grader, but I actually feel like I am.

Then you realize you could just flip a coin 2,007 times and you'd get roughly the same result.

Re: “Protests at Philly Convention Stir Memories of 1968 Chicago

You lost any semblance of credibility when you said with a straight face that now they're called Bernie Bros. Just clueless. And sexist. And marginalizing. And parroting one campaign's propaganda unquestioningly.

Re: “The Gun: How I Bought an AR-15 in a Five Guys Parking Lot

A great solution in search of a problem, as they say. Except more passive aggressive like. It's OK. Your friends will agree wholeheartedly. That's what matters in identity politics.

Re: “Sanders Endorsement Nets Pearson $60K for State Senate Bid

Joe Benning, you really need to reconsider your definition of big money. Bernie's average donation is roughly $27. These are the same donors. His non-Presidential bid average donation is likely less. What makes you think getting more supporters involved and donating small amounts is "big money", or in any way bad? If you want to win, just have the most supporters. That's how it's supposed to work.

Re: “In West Virginia, Sanders Picks Up 19th Win

From your email: "Bernie Sanders has now won 19 states to Clinton's 23, but he's still several hundred delegates behind the frontrunner."

Actually he's 1715-1439=276 delegates behind, as the numbers you grabbed from Nate Silver's 538 show. Why you then chose to include party officials who don't vote until the convention in July is an interesting question.
