Re: “Long Lines, Missed Flights: Airport Rush Hour Prompts Reconfiguration of TSA Access

I have personally been there when they were TRAINING new agents on the luggage screener during this so-called rush hour. I understand they need to train new agents, but come on. This new person took at least quadruple the amount of time to look at the luggage X-ray and dithered over 0.4 ounces of guacamole and a toothpick or something. Meanwhile the line was getting longer and people were getting anxious that they would miss their flights. The person training him made no effort to help speed things along. Just chatting away
I travel a lot. This airport is small time and its run inefficiently. Meanwhile fly in and out of JFK or LAX where MILLIONS of travelers pass through and they make it work...and in my opinion better.
