The Governor seems to lack the necessary intelligence and interest in his work to be an effective leader... and that's about the nicest way to phrase that.
Also, Biker, your argument about mothers giving birth with marijuana in their system doesn't really make sense considering there are plenty other things that are harmful to fetuses that are perfectly legal; tobacco, alcohol, and even raw fish among them. Not sure how you think keeping marijuana illegal would prevent a careless mother from making bad decisions.
You can hide behind youth safety all you want but the fact is your view is regressive and antiquated. Alcohol and tobacco are legal. Despite our best efforts, teens still get their hands on them. But it's often even easier to get marijuana because it ISN'T regulated by the government, it only exists on the black market. And for the record, out of the three substances I've listed, marijuana is the least likely to kill you, so maybe it's time for you to look at the data coming out of Colorado and Washington and rethink your attitude on a substance that is, for adults, completely harmless.

The name can change so long as Mr Weaver personally pays for the rebranding of the scoreboard, uniforms, signs, etc. I'll be damned if my tax dollars go towards something as frivolous as this garbage rather than towards something actually useful.

There is no violation of privacy when you post on a public forum, ala Facebook. She made a claim against the police that was highly inflammatory and easily refutable by video evidence and a detailed account. Social media is not a facet of life completely divorced from reality, it is merely an extension of it. Chief del Pozo knows this, and I applaud him for engaging citizens in a public forum.
