As someone who first visited Butlington to see Bob Dylan in 1992, who then spent the next 4 years as Del Pozo's friend, and who spent 7 years as a public defender, I can say Burlington made an excellent choice. Experienced cops who have always without exception been on the correct side of profiling and stop-and-frisk are either a) not experienced leaders (b/c their opinions precluded promotion) and/or b) not willing to move to a place as white and as far North as Burlington.
