She let herself be named acting Chief and then she told the truth. I think our police department needs a good investigation into what's happening there.

I have always believed the Police Chief should be someone who knows the City and it's issues. I do believe there is a leadership issue, police not feeling supported by the leadership is wrong. The Councilor who thought we should disarm the cops has to be out of his mind. The force needs a reorganization, support from the community and the leadership including the Mayor and the City council as well as the Chief.

I’m so very sorry for your loss, Jesse sounds amazing. Having family members who have battled addiction I’m too familiar with the ups and downs. I didn’t know Jesse or your family but your obit moved me. Keeping you all close in my heart and prayers.
