Re: “Singing 'Stuck in Vermont' at Waking Windows [SIV489]

Just what the world needs most; another Vermont song that doesn't rhyme with anything!
But, it gives us an Emmy quality video by my favorite documentarian.

Re: “Montpeculiar: Allô Montpelier!

Are there still French speaking native Vermonters in rural Vermont? Back in the '70's I slid into a ditch on a backwoods dirt road near Waitsfield Vermont. I found a farmhouse with a French speaking family who fed me dinner before rescuing my car. I referred to them as French Canadians but was told that they were French Vermonters. I tried to find their house again but never could. Vive Vermont.

Re: “Norwich Students Win National Contest for Counterterror Tool

I'm just a little queasy about some of the tactics, which, as history has shown, may have a tendency to grow and even become fear driven draconian sanctions. There is a danger of authoritarian over-reach.

Re: “Chittenden Prosecutor Creates Commission to Study Safe Injection Sites

Re: “The Parmelee Post: Work Begins to Reconstruct the Vermont Bubble

There are some remnants of the bubble here in Southern Vermont. This may explain why I am so frustrated about not being able to protest to anybody; most Vermonters are still bubble-wrapped. This is evident as, the lower half of the Union is totally bubble-warped.

Re: “Backstory: Stupidest Journalistic Injury

Albeit a well written story, I didn't see a dateline which would have helped me place the story in time. Is there a video of the authors bloodbath?

Re: “Thousands to Descend on Green Mountains for Rainbow Family Gathering

I wonder if we could combine the Rainbow Family and the Burning Man events with Don Littlehands as the Burning Man.
