Re: “Developer Has Not Sought Foundation Permit for Massive Burlington Project

Did this delay give Sinex the time to get the funding he didn't have and needed before Weinberger looked the other way in allowing him to start the foundation?

Re: “Walters: Leahy Elicits Striking Answer From Kavanaugh Accuser Christine Blasey Ford

Mike, I'm not sure if you can remember what you ate for meals 10 days ago but if someone jammed a broomstick up your ass 20 years ago you'd remember it. Would it matter who you was with you?

Re: “Union Claims Howard Center Tried to 'Stifle' Federal Investigation

What happened to my comment? It did not violate any terms.

The Howard Center has its haves and have nots. The haves take care of each other with promotions into invented positions, good pay, "consultant" fees when retiring, etc. The have nots are asked to beg for money in these union negotiations while working very hard in positions that will never lead to the type of promotions open to the haves.

Re: “To Restart Construction, Burlington Amends CityPlace Agreement

And would a no vote essentially forcing Sinex to wait to start the foundation work until he had certain legal agreements and a full construction loan potentially delay the project and risk deals with future tenants such as the University of Vermont Medical Center?

Why let developers like Sinex and the 800 pound gorilla that is UVM Medical center push you around like this is the better question.

Re: “Burlington Considers Upgrading Its High School — for $70 Million

I could see a 21-story high school. Classrooms would be in the lower level, UVM and Champlain housing the middle levels, and high end condos the top levels. A project like this would bring in thousands of high paying, permanent jobs and basically end the high cost of living in the city.

Re: “High E. Coli Levels Force Closures at Two Burlington Beaches

Gordon Gekko, are you calling me Travis Bickel or is that directed elsewhere?

Re: “High E. Coli Levels Force Closures at Two Burlington Beaches

Mayor Miro Weinberger has vowed action on the issue.

I mean who is going to buy the lake if it is polluted? Doesn't he sort of have to do something?
