Interesting. I grew up visiting Rock Point fairly often as a child. My mother, Alice Elizabeth Stiles attended Bishop Hopkins Hall, the school that preceded Rock Point School. I believe she graduated in 1926. She remained friends with many girls she met there, including one, Frances Dow McCuen, from Reading, Vermont, who introduced my mother to my father at a birthday party in the 1940s. It is a special place and I hope that the natural beauty will be protected for future generations.
