As a VT. organic greenhouse kale grower i object to this DON'T EAT MORE KALE BILL. Eating freshly harvested VT. organic kale does not cause such negative odorous effects as caused by the California kale which takes more than a week to travel from California. EAT LOCAL ORGANIC

I am a dedicated drinker of VT. craft beers. I applaud the commitment and creativity of the brewers using local ag products. But the prime ingredient in beer is water. If I am not willing to drink the Burlington or Champlain Water District water due to chemical additives, medicinal drugs that are not filtered out or the microplastics not filtered out why would i drink the VT craft beers using water from municipal water plants? Plus one sees beaches closed down.
What are the Vt craft beer brewers using water from municipal water plants doing to clean up their primary liquid ingredient? I have asked at several local breweries and have not got answers. Maybe that is why Hill Farmstead wins so many awards due to their spring water? I try to drink their beers whenever I can. Maybe municipal Vt craft breweries should truck water from clean springs outside their municipal breweries? would be good to have 7 days look into this consumer issue.
