I work downtown and pay to park three times a week. It's nice to not have to worry about it on Sundays or after six (I work til 10). Also they're going to tear down my lot on King and St. Paul soon and then where will I park? I understand the need for income for the city, but can't they find it somewhere else? Does it have to come from quarters and dimes? Maybe they could enforce a few more traffic laws and the fines from that could go toward the garages?
