We had such esperanza for this place. Stopped in on Saturday night around 8:30 and were encouraged to find the newly opened place hopping. It is a pleasant, casual atmosphere. And we were excited about experimenting with new (to us) flavors of Salvadoran and Filipino cuisine. But sadly the food was bland and indistinguishable from the bad tex-mex that seems to consistently disappoint us in the area. I couldn't taste anything in my fish tacos, nor could my husband in his tamales without loading them up with hot sauce, and then they tasted, predictably, like hot sauce. I hope this is just opening week bugs to be worked out, but we were disappointed enough that we might not try again. Service was attentive and well informed.
