Re: “Talking Chocolate Vulvas With Martina Anderson of Nutty Steph's

And if a male initiated even a conversation about candy female body, much less openly publicized it, he'd be crucified, right?---Is this like an African-American using the 'N' word?

Re: “ Changes Put Dozens of People's Jobs in Jeopardy

One wonders if this enterprise will continue to maintain its elevated visibility in the community vis a vis sponsorships of events such as Burlington Discover Jazz...or did those derive from tax breaks, incentives etc. in the old 'one hand washes the other' syndrome?!?!?

Re: “A Guided Tour Through Guster's New Album, 'Look Alive'

?the band's earlier, '90s college-rock sound won't find it here. Instead, Guster present an effervescent, electro-pop-tinged collection of songs"....which translated suggests a band with little if any sense of its own style, flailing to remain relevant, and no doubt failing---THROW 'EM ON THE SAME SCRAPHEAP OF AN ANTHOLOGY WITH TRAIN, MAROON 5 AND THE REST OF THEIR ANONYMOUS ILK!!!

Re: “Soundbites: Andy Kershaw's Deli Edits and Reliving 2000s Indie Music

In quoting a television series (!?!?!?) when concluding his mewling about his favorite music gone out of fashion, the author speaks volumes about his passion for music--or rather the lack thereof--not to mention why this greatest of all the arts so often seems a peripheral concern for 7Days. Adams could've at least referred to Carly Simon's "Anticipation," but he's probably not even that culturally literate. And certainly not conversant in songs of substance, such as The Who's "Long Live Rock:" '...We tried but you were yawning...Rock Is Dead!!!---Long Live Rock!!!'

Re: “On New Album 'Gloria Duplex,' Henry Jamison Considers Toxic Masculinity

Would that he just covered "Tattoo" by @thewho rather than prattle on about it!?!?!? No demographic needs gender apologists right now but rather articulate spokespeople for enlightened approaches to the gender challenges WE ALL face in this paradigm-shifting era!?

Re: “Soundbites: A Tribute to Donovan and a New Home for the Nightshade Kitchen

I laughed out loud when I read Jordan Adams' 'wildly underrated' description of Donovan. Pursuing my own passion for music, I've learned there's no underestimating the attraction of and loyalty to, niche artists (I still love Matthew Sweet after all these years!?!?). Still, there's something confounding about the thought of tribute to a man once nothing more than a Bob Dylan wannabe who then turned to psychedelic ephemera of his era. There was, unfortunately, no mention of Leitch's song "There Is A Mountain" as source material for The Allman Brothers' mammoth instrumental improvisation, "Mountain Jam:" do the tributeers perform that? But I'm not really complainingbecause the existence of a functioning homage to Donovan has me holding out hope to a similar unit devoted to Buffalo Springfield---or maybe even MOBY GRAPE/!

Re: “To Restart Construction, Burlington Amends CityPlace Agreement

The overriding question here is why this project was allowed to proceed BEFORE Sinex had ALL THE MONEY NECESSARY to complete it!?!?...Perhaps Burlington's Mayor/Chief Developer can enlighten us?
