"Oh no contaminated soils!"
I have heard that one before.
Y'all had no idea there would be contamination and did not plan for it?!?
A likely story.
Tried their samosas the other day, amazing stuff!
How can this so called cooperative continue to justify underpaying their workers?
Could Mr. Tashiro's Christmas bonus make up for the deficit if employees are paid a fair wage?!?
Keep up the good fight, folks! Thanks for the coverage SevenDays!
I think this perfectly legal process could be a productive way to ensure police are following procedures and ethics.
If we had adequate training for police this would be unnecessary.
@PacoDefrancis I believe there is inherent value in the Farmer's Market as an economic outlet for local producers and a resource for local products to consumers that make up for the lack of direct monetary payment to the city. Isn't the point of public parks to provide such a venue, not to make profit?
No mention of folks in prison for Possesion or other small time drug charges?
Re: “City Market Contract Falls Short of Union's $15-an-Hour Goal”
Perhaps addressing administrative bloat in this "cooperative" might be in order...
Also I am still a bit confused about the lack of disclosure on salaries here, still waiting to hear back from Mr. Tashiro on that one!
