Show Me the Biscuit — This year, puppy parents across Vermont took paws to give applause to Amy Haskell’s Show Me the Biscuit for its compassionate and safety-first approach to responsible dog training. Haskell, who has years of experience as a dog trainer and American Kennel Club Canine Good Citizen evaluator, eschews choke chains, shock collars, whips, rolled-up newspapers and other “corrective” training tools. Instead, she and fellow trainer Cassy Lamothe use only positive reinforcement techniques to convince your canine to comply with commands. Whether you’re prepping your pooch for international agility competitions or just trying to get your Pekingese to stop pooping on your Persian rug, the kind folks at Show Me the Biscuit can walk you through the process.
