Re: “Sushido

Affordable Japanese
In Burlington, you get stuck paying out the arse for Japanese food mostly for the ambiance and locations on Church street. The boyfriend and I frequent Sakura to order great food and take it home with us. The menu is great, the food is good, and whoever this raman guy is, try sticking to actual Raman you can get for 75 cents instead of confusing the staff, who probably had no clue what you were talking about because what you probably wanted was udon noodles or such. This is a great place who know Japanese food, appreciate it for the food itself and not the "fancy setting" and like the culture. Food: 5 Ambiance: 3 Service: 5

Re: “China Express 2

Not much is to be expected of any service in the old north end, but this Chinese Food place is a hole. They are completely unorganized, unfriendly, and unsanitary. In the sitting area where people are supposed to sit and eat is always filled with crap that should be in a storage room. The people who take you order take forever just to acknowledge your presence. It takes them an eternity to finish simple orders and they don't even offer any compensation. Chinese food is gross as it is but this place makes me never want to eat it again. Their manager desperately needs to step in and give their employees a slap in the face. Food: 1 Ambiance: 1 Service: 1

Re: “Sneakers Bistro

A non-greasy breakfeast joint
The food her is amazing. Its definatly worth the infuritating drive through Winoski traffic to go.On Saturday and Sunday mornings it does get a bit crowded, but Sneakers sets up a tent outside with free coffie and water. The waitsatff has always been really friendly and I've actaully become friends with a waitress there based on conversations we've had while she waited my table. There are also minature working jukeboxes at each table which is filled with a variety of good music. Another plus is that they serve breakfest until 2PM. If your into well made non-greasy food, I definaly say make the drive around the loop and through the traffic. Its worth it. Food: 5 Ambiance: 3 Service: 4
