And you thought the GOP presidential candidates had a punishing debate schedule.
Starting tonight, the candidates for Burlington mayor will make Mitt, Newt, Rick and Ron look like debate lightweights.
Between today and March 6, Republican Kurt Wright, Democrat Miro Weinberger and Independent Wanda Hines (pictured left to right) will square off no fewer than 12 — count 'em, 12 — debates, forums and assorted other non-confrontational issue panels.
All in an attempt to win your vote.
Seven Days is co-hosting one of them with Channel 17 — February 16 at Contois auditorium — where myself, WCAX reporter Kristin Carlson and a reporter from Vermont Public Radio (stay tuned) will grill the candidates on a host of important issues.
Such as, "Do you support colonizing the moon?"
Here's a complete (as of now) rundown on all the debates scheduled. By the time this is posted, there may be others, so check back often on Blurt, the Fair Game Facebook page and on Twitter (@andybromage). If we missed a debate, please let us know and we'll update the post.

While we champion free speech, facts are a matter of life and death during the coronavirus pandemic, and right now Seven Days is prioritizing the production of responsible journalism over moderating online debates between readers.
