Re: “Vermont Tap House (Williston)

Pricey, Noisy, Ugly, Average
7nvt says the average price per entree is $12 and under... not quite. If you don't want one of their set pizza combos, you'll pay a fortune in extra charges to build your own. And if you order appetizers and/or dessert, the final bill soars, even if you don't order any alcohol. The pizza is fairly good, both wheat crust and gluten-free (we tried both), but nothing mind-blowing except the price. Ambiance is non-existent. White drop ceiling, bright white lighting, laminate/fake wood flooring, rickety tables and chairs, and weird structural shapes in walls and ceilings left over from the last restaurant to occupy the space. There are no defined spaces, and nothing to absorb noise. Tables are jammed close together in straight rows, with mile-wide aisles between them, making the space look even more barren and awkward. Food: 2 Ambiance: 1 Service: 3
