Mark Considine, I am a Crew Chief on Milton Rescue. Every call we pull up to the scene, I ask my driver's and EMT to reset the trip meter. Our Chevy 4500 has a button to press and hold. Done. Our International 4400 requires 10 steps through the odometer, trip meter and 8 others to get back to the beginning. I do not think it is that difficult. I am sure your EMTs are quite intelligent enough to reset a trip meter every time you pull up to a scene. Then report it to the Captain or CC at the destination. It is being done elsewhere.
