Fall is fast approaching, and college students aren’t the only ones going back to class. The University of Vermont’s monthly Community Medical School, which opens with a lecture by urologist Scott Perrapato on Tuesday, offers free public lectures on a variety of topics. Perrapato will dig into a discussion of innovations in the field of prostate cancer. In coming months, an array of professionals will discuss everything from dengue fever vaccines to opioid addiction. You don’t have to be a med student or practitioner to go; these talks are specifically tailored for general audiences.
