The issue of Seven Days that’s on newsstands October 31 typically references Halloween on the cover. In presidential election years, the cover also alludes to Election Day, which falls on the first Tuesday of November. We’ve done joint Halloween/election covers three times over the past 12 years — in 2004 (John Kerry and George W. Bush), 2008 (John McCain and Barack Obama), and 2012 (Barack Obama and Mitt Romney). Who will be on that cover in 2016? Now, that could be really scary…
