On January 2, a trailer for local chef Kelly Dietrich's Internet TV show, "The Burrito Diaries," was added to up-and-coming web video site The show aims to tell the story of a person's life "between eating two burritos," according to Dietrich.

The bombastic trailer, which clocks in at nine minutes, ties together bits of footage that make downtown Winooski look like the gritty inner city. What it doesn't do is tell us when the first of the planned 13 shows will be available . . .

The construction at Big Fatty's Barbecue in Burlington is right on schedule, according to owner Bethany Lewis. The new biz, which took over its Main Street digs from Souza's, plans to start smokin' on March 1.

Another celebrity chef is coming to the Sheraton. Certified Master Chef Arnd Sievers will join WVMT radio host Charlie Papillo in the kitchen on February 8. Papillo's charity of choice is the Eleanor B. Daniels fund, which is dedicated to education and research related to women's health. The tab is $42 per person. Call 865-6604 for reservations.
