Daana Paani explore the early days of 1962, when Hav. Mehtaab Singh is given the honorable responsibility of personally informing the family of a martyred Lance Naik of his wartime demise, and along the way encounters an oppressed young village woman, Basant Kaur. The trials and tribulations of their unexpected attraction sets each on a course of life carrying repercussions for themselves, their families and a once quaint village struggling against the emergence of modern times. Their fate may have determined that they would enter each other's lives, but it seems the actions of those around them decide just how long they can stay together If it's meant to be, It will be!
