P. S. Just because fewer people have died here doesn't make it any less treacherous than Huntington gorge.Having served on the Bolton fire for 18 years i have helped with many rescues and recoveries there.

Please be advised that there is no legal parking anywhere either side of the Bolton Valley Access Road from Route 2 intersection up about 2 miles.The only legal parking is a small lot at the intersection an at the school on the other side of the brook when school is not in session.Parking on anything green may get you towed.

First of all you are showing the wrong place on your Google map. You are off by about 2 miles uphill.Next you are promoting public overuse of private property.The lower half of the western side of the brook is entirely on private land.Seven Days and BFP seem to do a story about it every summer that just brings more people here that don't have a clue of where to park when they get here so they just park anywhere.This papers home town has organizations that send vans full of kids out here to swim when Burlington has many places available that are much safer.
