The idea that a watered-down family leave or mimimum wage bill is a victory for Dems is backwards. It's a victory for conservatives who defeated two good bills that have huge citizen support.
This was not underwhelming- it was a disaster. This is the kind of weakness that resulted in people voting for Trump.

Wow! Hugely disappointing that our Sec of Ed can't see the importance of this moment. These kids could become the Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) of our time and actually save some lives. Non-violent civil disobedience to save the lives of children should be universally supported.

... and these are the kinds of businesses our governor and commerce department are trying to attract to Vermont. Thanks a lot! Why not support expansion of our existing businesses and employees instead?
