Re: “Rodgers to Run as Democratic Write-In Candidate for Governor

Rogers gives hypocrisy a bad name. He does not have the courage to enter the primary in the race for Governor, but will keep his "safe seat" and allow his far right lunatic friends to run a right-in campaign for him. What a coward!

Re: “Pro-Gun Vermont Senator John Rodgers Considers Run for Governor

Run, John, Run! That way we can get rid of you as a useless Senator.

Re: “Sanders Spreads Support, but Not in Vermont's Gubernatorial Race

Matt Dunne was an early supporter and endorser of Bernie Sanders. He has every right to point that out in any way he can. It is likely that after next Tuesday Galbraith will be sitting home alone with his Kurdish oil money. I am working hard to make sure that Matt gets the nomination. The alternative is Sue Minter. Minter has the support of Hillary superdelegates like Howard Dean. Minter called my home before Super Tuesday asking for my support. I asked her who she was supporting in the primary and was told she was neutral, as she wanted to have good relations with whoever became President. It was quite a surprise to see her up on the stage, less than two weeks latter, at a Super Tuesday rally for Bernie in Essex singing the praises of Bernie. Minter plays both ends against the middle - Matt does not. I ran into Matt Door knocking for Bernie in NH. I did not run into Minter or the oil man.

Re: “After Last-Minute Endorsement, Minter Says 'Keep the Fire Bern-ing'

Minter made a campaign call to me about three weeks ago. I asked her if she was going to endorse anyone for President. She said no because she wanted to be able to work with and have a good relationship with whoever got elected. I recognize that people can "evolve" and change their mind, but to wait until the primary votes are in to sort of endorse the candidate who won at his own victory rally tends to give opportunism a bad name.

Re: “Peter Welch Backs Sanders Over Clinton for President

One has to wonder when Kunin will wake up to the fact that this is not the year for identity politics and that no one much cares to hear what she has to say anyway.
