Re: “Up in the Air: Gene Richards Works to Keep the Airport Competitive

How entrepreneurial...$37,000 table for $2000, free player piano... The Airport has "no money", next venture, a thrift shop on the airport parking garage roof top Fly and Buy. Perhaps with the proceeds he could purchase Dale Carnigie's audio book How to win friends and influence Airport Neighbors; I mean people.

This article "Up in The Air" reminded me of a passage from the book.

“And the pathetic part of it is that frequently those who have the least justification for a feeling of achievement bolster up their egos by a show of tumult and conceit which is truly nauseating. As Shakespeare put it: “ … man, proud man, / Drest in a little brief authority, / … Plays such fantastic tricks before high heaven / As make the angels weep.”
