Sledding, horse-drawn wagon rides, chainsaw ice carving and fireworks at dusk on Saturday are among the offerings at the St. Albans Winter Carnival. On Sunday afternoon, the Duct Tape Derby at Hard'ack Recreation Area pits vessels made from cardboard and heavy-duty tape against each other. 

Kids City in South Burlington hosts a Family Fun Night on Sunday, where kids 4 and up can dress up, play games and get their faces painted, courtesy of The Big Blue Trunk party company. Preregister on the Kids City website.
