Thanks for the article; and thanks for mentioning the march that happened in Winooski after the meeting. It's the first time I've seen anything in formal news about it. This was very informative. This is hugely important. As a white person who grew up in a very racist culture here in Vermont it took me a long time to unlearn what I had been taught. Speaking from my own experience, I know how prevalent racism is here and what it can look and sound like. I'm really glad that BLM is getting some traction and having some success. A huge facet of my own identity is oppressed and I am proud to say that I feel a sense of solidarity with BLM.

Yes, perhaps Disney has not released this film in the US because it so overtly racist. There are still many, many Disney films being released and re-released which are plenty racist. In fact, show me a Disney film which isn't somehow racist. Racism aside (or inferred), what's the most socially redeeming Disney film out there? What's the most socially just Disney film? Ratatouille?
