Step right up, step right up! This weekend is filled with amazing events sure to please ladies, gentlemen and kids of all ages.

On Friday, the Creative ReUse Exhibit — featuring the upcycled art of Chittenden County high schoolers — opens at Frog Hollow on Church Street in Burlington. The resourceful work of these talented young artists is on display until March 27.

For some outdoor fun on Saturday morning, strap on your snowshoes and join the Wintry Wander, a family-friendly scavenger hunt on the trails of Bolton Valley Resort sponsored by the Green Mountain Adventure Racing Association.

For those with a sweet tooth, Palmer’s Sugarhouse in Shelburne kicks off the maple season early with sugar-on-snow parties this Saturday and Sunday.

If you prefer a kick of spice, check out the Vermont Chili Festival in Middlebury on Saturday afternoon. Tastings, face painting and musical entertainment fill Main Street during this popular annual event.

Looking for mellower entertainment? Local author Liza Woodruff reads from her newest winter-themed romp, If It’s Snowy and You Know It, Clap Your Paws, at Brown Dog Books in Hinesburg on Saturday.
