Greater Burlington Industrial Corporation (GBIC) 

The Greater Burlington Industrial Corporation is Vermont’s certified nonprofit economic development corporation for Chittenden County. Since its founding in 1954, GBIC has served as a catalyst for economic opportunity in Chittenden County, assisting in the creation and retention of sustainable jobs and economic opportunities for thousands of Vermonters.

The primary economic market focus of GBIC is the region’s value-added industry sectors and its economy-driving businesses. GBIC is dedicated to the creation and retention of “good jobs in a clean environment” for working Vermonters and their families.
