Everyday People
Songwriter Gregory Alan Isakov has a knack for finding wonder in the mundane. The latest example of this is the South Africa native’s new record, The Weatherman. Quietly stirring and sincere, the record has drawn raves from the likes of the Washington Post and Esquire. Writes the latter, the album is “straightforward and pure, and manages to reveal the beauty in ‘everyday’ moments.” Isakov appears at the First Unitarian Universalist Church in Burlington this Friday, April 17, with songwriter Jolie Holland.
