Re: “Legislators Seek to Secure the Future of Vermont's Valuable Forests

Increased regulations on forestry are a tiny part of the global Agenda 21 program. Little by little the right to use one's land as one desires will be regulated away. Whether it be the BLM taking grazing land from ranchers or the EPA giving themselves complete authority over any and all waterways and wet lands (even seasonal puddles), private property rights are being assailed. Don't misunderstand me.......stewardship of our lands and waterways is essential, I just believe that land owners can and will take better care of their own land, ponds, and brooks than will some government agency. And Robbo is also right.....Vermont's foresters do a great job of managing forests......regulation is a solution in search of a problem.
