weird food
all the reviews of this place were good, so we took a chance. We ordered for delivery, spring roll, chef's pad thai, and their special pork with grand marnier. The pork tasted good despite the red food coloring. the spring roll was okay. The pad thai was just plain strange, big thick wheat noodles, several different types of meat, some of which were rubbery and chewy, sweet sauce, not much spice, no egg, no peanut. If it wasn't called pad thai I would have been more forgiving, but it just didn't resemble pad thai in any way. the noodles were thick and spongy. the on line menu did not describe what "chef's pad thai" was, but I assumed it would be sort of like pad thai. also, no rice came with our order, which was sad, because the best part of the meal was the pork dish and it would have been nicely complimented by a little bit of rice. not horrible, but I won't order from there again.
