Re: “Fear on the Farm: Trump's Immigration Crackdown Threatens Vermont's Dairy Industry

What is wrong with our priorities? The money spent in trying to catch people here working hard to do jobs that no one else can do should be spent on creating a long-term guest worker program. This would eliminate the concern about workers being undocumented and keep our much needed workers here , hopefully with some protections.

Re: “Burlington School Super's South Burlington Digs Trigger Residency Debate

Our last superintendent lived in Shelburne. I believe out of our last six superintendents five lived out of Burlington. Imagine being a teenager at parent teacher conferences with the superintendent!

Re: “Final Tour of St. Joseph's Orphanage Spurs Haunting Memories

As a therapist for over 40 years I have met several former residents of the orphanage. Their stories were all heartbreaking. The cruelty perpetrated on vulnerable kids makes me sick , angry and sad.

Re: “Ugly Accusations of Rutland Police Misconduct Surface in Lawsuit

So what has to happen for police to become people we can trust? Or can citizens never trust that police are a positive force in our communities? This story is sickening.
