Molly, Could you please investigate whether Mario and Noel Green knew each other before BHS.
$70 million on 1 building that has 1,000 students is absurd. It does nothing to improve the quality of education or find the BHS graduates decent paying jobs. Fix the school for $30 million and spend more money on improving the education. Burlington HS has dropped to 40 on the school rank list, 8 years ago - it was 15.

School scores at BHS are nothing to brag about. The building will not improve school scores.

Burlington VT $85 million school budget, 3935 students, = $21,600 per student
By diverting all the traffic to Lakeside Ave, then having to make a SHARP left hand turn onto Pine St, has anyone questioned how big rigs and trailers are going to be able to turn? I predict many tie ups if this 45 degree turn is kept in the project.
$86 million/3600 students = $24,000/student.
Re: “Freeman Unseats Incumbent Knodell for Burlington City Council”
With regards to Chris S, speaking about the mall, there are no toilets open in the mall. I went to Church St the other day and really had to go. I walked into the mall and found a person at the information desk. He informed me there were no bathrooms and I needed to use Starbucks or Five Guys. Both restaurants had long lines for the 1 bathroom. Really? How can this be? Why not put a port a potty outside or on the old bus station side? Do our city councilors and the Mayor know there are no bathrooms in the mall?
