Re: “Burlington School Board Investigation Finds No Racial Discrimination

Good for the superintendent for wanting to move forward. Let's hope the results of this investigation were, in fact, true.

It's hard to believe others would be lying about Wick's remarks. What if such comments were made about Wick? A quick search through now-deleted comments and reviews on Wick's law firm show a clear pattern: he is not a nice guy. A more detailed search on Wick (and knowing the family) reveals an even more sinister pattern. When Wick's sister, Heather Wick (Manning Yackovetsky) MD said she wanted slavery to return to the US, family members claimed she was 'bipolar,' and 'joking'. Save the jokes for 'Seinfeld.'

Further, 'strong family support,' was sited as a reason for Ms. Wick's 'getting out of' serving jail time for two felonies. Just proof that you can have a lawyer and a doctor in the family and still have no class.

Re: “Burlington Schools Superintendent Weighs In on Race Controversy

It is a surprise, Thea Lewis, especially since this website has a history of deleting comments that don't beam with praise for the Wick family. It's sad that there are no options for free expression, even in a small town. Pretty spooky if you ask me

Re: “Burlington School District Billed Nearly $3,000 for Racial Bias Investigation

Mark Lade and Maggie Standley are spot on. Questioning the sincerity of Wick's statement directly relates to this story and is not an insult. My last post pointed out out the double standard in Wick's response above and the one he used last year after his sister made an insulting 'joke.' The family's support of Heather in spite of her picking on the most vulnerable - hospital patients, her elderly husband - brings up a very real and very relevant pattern.

Re: “Burlington School District Billed Nearly $3,000 for Racial Bias Investigation

The Oracle - Seven Days removedy post claiming it was off topic, but a quick Google of Heather Wick Vermont will give you your answer. For more detailed info, try Heather Wick Manning Yackovetsky.

It's too bad 7D doesn't see the relevance. This family has a clear pattern of protecting Heather from 'responsibly.'

Re: “Burlington School Board Chair Porter Steps Down

Isn't this the brother of Heather Wick (AKA Heather Manning AKA Heather Yackovetsky), the Burlington M.D. who used 'bipolar' as an excuse for racist remarks made online? The same Heather Wick who used bipolar as an excuse for two felonies in 2009? The same Heather Wick who bullied patients (including myself)? The same Heather Wick who testified against her elderly husband in 2016? How bad was her 'bipolar then?

Look at the one-sided article published about Heather Wick in Seven Days. It's sad that this family's means of 'support' is to protect Heather from taking RESPONSIBILITY.

Re: “The Internet Branded Her a Racist. Does It Matter That She’s Bipolar?

And she doesn't have four brothers
