The trash has to go somewhere. The Coventry/Newport area is where much of Vermont's trash goes. Not only solid waste for the landfill but criminal and multi-generational welfare. We're good enough for that. Jobs? Send them to Chittenden County. Opiate junkies? Send them to Newport. The landfill will become the next Vermont ski area, it's nearly high enough now.

I hope Phil Scott knows that if he signs this bill, his political career is over. He barely won the race against Minter and if signs this legislation, the next outcome won't even be close. The folks that voted for him will not put up with betrayal. Phil Scott is a coward, and has been very disingenuous. I was warned of his RINO tendencies, but I thought him better than the alternative at the time he was elected (Minter). Now I'm not so sure. He certainly is a big disappointment that doesn't seem to care what his constituents care about. This legislation doesn't make anyone more safe and can potentially do the opposite. Scott simply caved in.

Are they going to fly a pennant that says: "Fry the pigs like bacon" or other anti police BLM rants? Seems like the police kept the students safe a few days ago.

Is it a "state's rights" issue to pay for all the handouts these people will get? Vermont is broke now. Scott should change party. He's no more of a Republican than John McCain. So far, we have Shumlin lite. By the way, Trump won on appeal for the travel ban. This court ruling came from a ultra left wing Obama appointee.

She's 100% certain but can't remember exactly where, not sure when, or who she was with? Hardly sounds like certainty. She couldn't even remember the day of her recent polygraph test with precision. Events 36 years ago? Sounds more than a little suspect.
