Re: “Caution Urged as Vermont House Panel Weighs Pot Legalization

Wow Margo!

I used to have students from BHS and BTC intern with me. Hell I went to school there and sat on the advisory committee for the Tech Center's Computer System's course. If anything, I am proof that marijuana does not impede a student's ability to thrive. I am doing beyond well for myself - and I grew up in poverty and illiterate until age 10! I would love the opportunity to come and speak about this someday.

Re: “ICE Arrests Immigrant Worker Outside Burlington Courthouse

wow Bob - seems you don't like migrant people very much. You know this guy was MARRIED in the US, worked and paid TAXES in the US and has CHILDREN in the US. So - what's your talking point other than bigotry?

Re: “Bus Service Resumes but Hard Feelings Remain

Alright guys,
Enough with this CCTA nonsense. We the consumers have the right to strike back against the union, and the company.
I propose that if there is any bit of decency in you as a human being you consider Boycotting CCTA once services are restored. People are losing jobs because of lack of transportation, it has also incurred travel expenses that folks cannot afford - this is unacceptable. The union is hurting us the folks that depend on their services to go to work, school and live our lives.
WE MUST boycott their services, and hurt them where their wallet is - just like they have done to us.
If CCTA were to lose enough passengers say 40% it would have a disastrous effect on the company's ability to pay their employees and continue operations.
Their business model requires two things for them to stay afloat, money from tax payers, and fares from passengers. Let's take a big cut out of their pie and send a message to all parties involved so they know the public finds this juvenile bickering and disagreement unacceptable.
