Re: “Donny's NY Pizza & Sports Bar”

last time
Had dinner at Donny's tonight for the very last time. I keep saying that, but tonight was the last straw. We got our pizza, and could not find any parmesan on the table. I asked for some, they brought it to our table for us. My two nieces, ages 3 and 7, piled it on their pizza. One person stated it tasted funny, and upon opening the shaker, the contents had moldy bits mixed in. The smell was definately rotten. Showing our waitress, she explained the metal screw lids affect the cheese. Sorry, but after being in the food service industry for over 10 years, I know rotten food. She threw it away upon explaining that fact, and nothing was taken off our bill, just a "sorry for the cheese." Well, it's been only a half hour, and I hope these children do not become ill, because I will know why. And the other night, I drove by Donny's at about 9:15, saw the cook with his head on the counter. People were still eating, and I wanted a slice. I called to have it ready ahead of time, and I was told they were closed. Awful, awful service. Food: 1 Ambiance: 3 Service: 2
